1939-1948 General Motors NOS Accessory Guide S-18 Spot Lamp Head GM # 982406 ?

This new old stock spot light head was manufactured by General Motors for use on the following models:

General Motors 1939-1948

  This could be a 982406 used on 1947-1948 models or the earlier 995803 used on 1937-1942 models. All later models had a sealed beam unit instead of a bulb, lens and reflector that this head has.  Impossible to photograph. It is in very good condition.

Appears to be complete except for the spring clips that hold the spotlight bulb to the bezel
