This new old stock transmission reverse idler gear shaft (use with bearing) was manufactured by General Motors for use on the following models:

Buick 1964 Special, Deluxe, Skylark, LeSabre  (40-41-42-43-4400) with 3 speed manual (use with 3841228 gear).

Chevrolet 1937 – 1962 All, Corvette with 3 speed except HD,

Chevrolet 1964 – 1965 with  Saginaw, 

Chevrolet 1958 – 1963 All with S.T., 

Chevrolet 1960 – 1962 Corvair with 3-speed,

Chevrolet 1963 all with 3-speed, 

Chevrolet 1964 – 1965 FC All with 3-speed, 

Chevrolet 1964 – 1965  All with 6-cylinder and 3-speed  (1st design) except FC, O.D., 

Chevrolet 1964 – 1965 Chevy ll, Chevelle with 3-speed, V8 (2nd design) except FC, O.D., 

Chevrolet 1964 with 3-speed (1st design) except H.D.,
