This new old stock spring nut was manufactured by General Motors for use on the following models:

Chevrolet 1939 Passenger,

Chevrolet 1947 – 1953 Commercial, Utility,

Chevrolet 1940 – 1948 Passenger (instrument panel extension molding nut),

Chevrolet 1949  Closed (trunk lid emblem nut),

Chevrolet 1940 – 1948 All  (ash tray handle nut).

Oldsmobile 1949 All.
