1964 – 1968 General Motors Transmission Reverse Idler Gear GM # 3851228

This new old stock transmission reverse idler gear (for use with roller bearings) was manufactured by General Motors for use on the following models:

Buick 1964 Special, Deluxe, Skylark LeSabre  (40-41-42-43-4400) with 3-speed S.T. 2nd type, 

Buick 1965 Special, Skylark, LeSabre (30-40-5000) with 3-speed S.T. except Sport Wagons.

Chevrolet 1964 with 3-speed 2nd Design, 

Chevrolet 1965 with 230 and 3-speed S.T. (Taxi and Police ), 

Chevrolet 1965 All with 3-speed S.T. and 283

Chevrolet 1964-1965 Chevy ll, Chevelle with 3-speed S.T.  V8 2nd Design except H.D.

Oldsmobile 1964 – 1965 F85, J88 3 speed standard transmission except 442.

Pontiac 1964 P/8 with 3 speed standard transmission,

Pontiac   1964 – 1968  T/8 with 3 speed standard transmission.
