1970 – 1975 Firebird, Camaro NOS Steering Column Assembly GM # 7812229

This new old stock steering column assembly was manufactured by General Motors for use on the following models:

Chevrolet 1970 – 1971 Camaro except Tilt Wheel,

Chevrolet 1971-1973 Camaro All with floor shift except Tilt wheel,

Chevrolet 1972 Camaro with 3 and 4-speed except floor console or Tilt Wheel,

Chevrolet 1972 – 1975 Camaro with A.T. and  floor console except Tilt Wheel,

Chevrolet  1975 Camaro with floor console except Tilt.

Pontiac 1970 – 1974 Firebird All with floor shift except Tilt Wheel.

This NOS column is complete internally as far as we can tell and includes an original turn signal switch date code D-8-67 and an original ignition switch stamped 0095 and 3D4L21. It does not include the ignition lock and key. The column is stamped 70 as well as 16 and 340  A4 or 840 A4 near the bottom of the column. You should be able to see the numbers  in the images.
