1948 ? Pontiac NOS Gear Shift Control Shaft Lower Support Bracket GM # Casting # 511409

This new old stock gear shift control shaft lower support bracket with bushing was manufactured by General Motors for use on the following models:

Pontiac  1948 with Hydramatic transmission ?

I am guessing at this application because it is the only Pontiac bracket that uses a “U” Bolt. If I am correct then the part number could be either 510901 or 510904. What do you think?
